  INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING SLIDES

For Admissions

Freshmen: 15 slides
Transfer: 30 Slides For Merit
All applicants: 20 slides maximum
Fall deadline: March 15
Spring deadline: November 15

All Applicants

1. Number all slides.
2. Do not put labels or tape on the slides
3. Put names on slide and label which is "top" of image; write directly on slide.
4. Two angles of 3-D work is advised.
5. Include slide description sheet that corresponds to the numbers on the slides.
6. If you want your slides returned, please include $5.00 for postage and handling (no stamps or envelopes)

OTHER MEDIA FOR ADMISSIONS AND FOR MERIT SLIDE

Video Tape

1. Video tapes may be submitted in 1/2" VHS or 3/4" cassette.
2. Each case must have the following information:
Name
Running time (10 minute maximum)
Cueing information indicating what you want the committee to review


Film

1. Submissions must be 8mm, 16mm, or super-8 gauge film only.
2. Each case must have the following information:
Name
Running time (10 minute maximum)
Film gauge
Projection speed
Indicate silent or sound


Audio tapes, CD-ROMs, laser discs, floppy, Syquest and Zip discs, or other media

1. Label each submission and describe the process for review and retrieval,
2. Call the Admissions office and confirm that the format can be reviewed

If you pay an additional $5.00 with your application fee, or when you submit your portfolio for merit scholarship review, we will return your portfolio via U.S. Postal Service or UPS. Do not send stamps or Envelopes. They will be discarded.
